We deliver care and support to people at home. Our carers help with those things, which you or those around you want support with.
We offer a reliable, safe service to enable you to enjoy your own home.
Our service is available to all age groups offering support and help with:
Personal care, including getting out of or into bed, washing, dressing and eating.
Providing general domestic support, including light housework, cooking, and essential day to day activities such as shopping and laundry.
Supporting and facilitating people to maintain an active independent lifestyle including:
Accompanying people to collect or collecting prescriptions for people, assisting with correspondence or helping to pay bills, book appointments or chaperone to attend appointments at hospital or doctors and dentists as well as assisting to maintain a safe environment through accessing local services.
We deliver care and support from short half hour visits to 3 or 8 hour companion care visits or 24 hour care packages. We provide specialist dementia care & support as well as night time help.
Night Time Care & Support
We provide night time care and support. This may be helpful for holiday cover or to give the main carer a break and a change.
Our night service starts at 10.00 pm through to 7.30 am.
The Companion Care service is designed to give main carers a break.
Visits can be between 2hrs and 8hrs long, between 8am and 10pm. Visits can be combined into outings for the person as well as a break for the main carer.
Complex Care Packages and Double up visits
If you need a continuous package of support we can provide you with a group of dedicated carers who work in rota to cover 24 hours. The carers will normally work an 8 hour shift giving you the comfort of a routine with a familiar face at all times and also the benefit of secure care within your own home.
We provide a double handed service where a “double up” is appropriate. We can deliver 1 to 6 double up visits a day.
Dementia Care & Support
Our care staff are trained and have experience in delivering care and support to someone with dementia. Our Nurse Trainer is an R.M.N.and all staff receive training at induction, as well as support from our dementia nursing home in Wellington, Somerset.
Arrangements can be made with our specialist carers for short term cover and session visits, as well as night time support.
You may combine support at home with day care and holiday stay visits at Chelston Gardens, our Dementia Nursing Home in Wellington, Somerset.
Children & Families Services
We provide personal, domestic and social care and support for children and their families. A small team of named carers , approved by the family, will be established to provide support.
End of Life Care
We provide end of life support through NHS Continuing Health Care funding. We are working towards accreditation with the Gold Standard Framework, a national standard and framework for the delivery of end of life support.
